BUXTON ROLLS OUT NEW CORPORATE BRANDING

FORT WORTH, Texas (Jan. 14, 2004) - With the excitement and promise of a new year, Buxton, the leader in customer research, has launched a fresh corporate branding campaign that includes a new streamlined logo, reflecting the company's focus for the future and commitment to its clients. The new branding includings company collateral materials, a new advertising campaign, trade show presence with a new state-of-the-art multi-functional booth and new Web site.

"The goal of this initiative is to strengthen the Buxton brand and take our company to the next level," said Tom Buxton, president and CEO. "We want people to identify Buxton as the company that provides unique, industry-leading customer research products to major retail firms and communities throughout the United States. Our new branding now reflects who we are and where we are going."

Buxton's updated logo, which preserves elements of the company's original logo, is a deep forest green bold typeface with a vibrant splash of golden sunset yellow striking through the "x" like the tail of a comet. The company's tagline, IDentifying Customers, is strategically positioned under the Buxton name to emphasize the company's mission. The design more clearly projects the company's strength and focus, while maintaining its brand recognition as a cutting-edge company known for its state-of-the-art technology and product innovation.

Since 1994, with its CustomerID product, Buxton has been identifying customers and site locations for hundreds of retailers, based on extensive psychographics research that accurately analyzes individual lifestyle, behavior and buying patterns. CommunityID is a state-of-the-art research product designed specifically for use in community economic development programs, providing cities with clear, precise and meaningful direction in order to effectively market their communities to retailers and restaurateurs.

Among Buxton's 600 clients are Pier 1 Imports, Bass Pro Shop, 7-Eleven and more than 50 cities throughout the United States.
