Kitty Hawk Expands Its Reach By Adding
San Juan To Its Growing List of Destinations

DFW AIRPORT, Texas (March 9, 2004) - Kitty Hawk Cargo, a division of Kitty Hawk, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: KTHK), today announced a new addition to its North American scheduled overnight air freight network with the addition of San Juan, Puerto Rico, beginning on March 29, 2004.

After serving various points in the Caribbean with all-cargo charter service during the last year, Kitty Hawk is pleased to announce its first scheduled destination in both the Caribbean and Puerto Rico. Kitty Hawk said it made the move in response to a growing need by freight forwarders in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. The new scheduled service provides another extension of Kitty Hawk's award-winning, highly reliable overnight air freight network for expedited, overnight, mission-critical freight deliveries throughout North America.
