Bodega Wines Win Big at NY Competition

AIRPORT, Texas
(April 22, 2008) -- La Bodega Winery, located at Dallas-Fort Worth
International Airport, Terminal A, Gate 15 and Terminal D, Gate 14,
was a triple winner at the 8th
Annual Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, held March 29-30,
in upstate New York, bringing one silver and two bronze medals back
to Texas.

Bodega Private Reserve Merlot 2004 -- 78% Texas Merlot -- 25%
Cabernet Sauvignon placed with a Silver medal. The powerhouse Merlot
with bold, jammy flavors, pairs perfectly with lamb, game or Texas
rib eye.

Bodega Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 – 78% Texas
Cabernet Sauvignon – 22% Merlot and La Bodega Private Reserve
Chardonnay 2005, both took home a Bronze. La Bodega Private Reserve
Cabernet Sauvignon 2005’s black currant, cassis, leather and
black cherry provides a depth of flavor and a long finishing taste.
La Bodega Private Reserve Chardonnay 2005 is a crisp fruit with a
hint of oak. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with seafood, poultry
and smooth jazz.
In
related news, La Bodega Private Reserve Chardonnay 2005 also took
home a bonze medal in the White Wine category at the 2008 National
Women’s Wine Competition.
La
