INTERSTAR NAMES STEVE ROTH VICE PRESIDENT

FORT WORTH, Texas (December 11, 2001) - Steve Roth has been named a Vice President of InterStar Marketing and Public Relations Inc., responsible for Media and Client Services for the North Texas-based agency. Roth, who joined InterStar in February 2000, will also have responsibilities in the area of corporate business development.

"Steve's ability to help develop strategic plans for our clients and his media experience and skills have been essential to our growth and expansion. As we complete our first 25 years of business, he will be a major contributor to our continued expansion," said InterStar President Jane Schlansker.

Before joining InterStar he was editor of the Fort Worth Business Press where he worked for the newspaper for more than eight years. Initially he was a reporter covering real estate, manufacturing and public companies. During his 15 years of experience, he also served as editor of Texas Environmental News and as a reporter for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He is also author of a business book for children.

Roth worked with DFW International Airport on crisis communication in the wake of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Additionally he coordinated the media relations effort for DFW Airport's demolition of a Hyatt Hotel as part of the airport's $2.6 billion capital development program.

Roth is a 1987 graduate of Texas Christian University where he received a B.A. in journalism with a minor in political science. He is a member of the Fort Worth Mayor's Exporter Award Committee; the North Texas Commission Aviation Marketing Committee; Sister Cities International Marketing Committee and the DFW Cargo Association.
