INTERSTAR NAMES REBA HENRY VICE PRESIDENT

FORT WORTH, Texas (August 13, 2001) - Reba Henry has been named a Vice President of InterStar Marketing and Public Relations Inc., responsible for Public Affairs for the North Texas-based agency. Henry joined InterStar in 1997.

"Reba has been at the center of our growing public affairs division. Her vast experience in the public arena sets InterStar apart and provides our clients with the highest quality service available," said InterStar President Jane Schlansker.

Henry has more than 20 years experience in public affairs, managing multiple public participation/involvement and community outreach programs on public projects throughout the metroplex. Her ability to identify key stakeholders and get them to the discussion table; knowledge of the issues and associated concerns and the expertise to build strong communication bridges has helped ensure a high level of successful outcomes on the projects Henry manages.

Henry has a variety of teaching experiences and has used this expertise to conduct training and development workshops on a variety of subjects locally and statewide for the community-at-large, public sector clients and elected officials.

Henry has produced informational/educational materials for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Texas Association of Black City Council Members, among others. Her experience also includes speechwriting, marketing, special promotions and production of a newsletter with statewide circulation.

Henry earned an M.S. in communication in human relations from Texas Christian University in 1993 and a BBA in marketing from UT Arlington in 1979.

InterStar Marketing and Public Relations specializes in developing strategic communications programs for both corporate and public clients. Public sector clients include the City of Fort Worth and other metroplex cities, Fort Worth Transit Authority and DART, as well as numerous planning and design consultants doing business with these entities.
